Send29 charges by the emails you send, not the contacts you store. You pay based on how many emails go out each month, and on Growth and Pro your contact list is unlimited.
Most email platforms bill the other way: you pay for every contact stored, every month, whether you email them or not. As the list grows, the bill grows even when your sending doesn't. The rational response is to start pruning: cut the quiet subscribers, trim anyone who hasn't opened lately. You end up managing your list to control cost rather than to reach people.
With Send29, nobody gets deleted to save money. You can keep past customers, seasonal subscribers, and people who have been quiet for months, at no monthly penalty. A subscriber who ignored six campaigns can still open the seventh, but only if they are still on your list.
What this means for a growing list
Say you've built a list of 10,000 subscribers and you send two campaigns a month. With contact-based pricing, you're billed for all 10,000 contacts every month. With Send29, you pay for the emails you actually send. The same plan covers you whether your list holds 1,000 contacts or 100,000.

Contact-based pricing means checking your exact contact count against a sliding scale before you know what you'll pay. Nothing about how you use Send29 changes when you upgrade. Your forms, lists, and campaigns carry over exactly as they are. What Growth adds is segments (so you can target part of your list instead of all of it), scheduling (so campaigns go out when you want, not just when you're at your desk), and full open & click analytics (so you can see what's working). Upgrade when you want to send a campaign to just part of your list.

Pricing questions, answered
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. The Free plan costs $0 and includes up to 500 contacts, 2,000 emails per month, signup forms, contact lists, and basic reporting. No credit card is required to start.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You can start on the Free plan without entering any payment details. You only add a card if you later choose to upgrade to Growth at $19 a month or Pro at $49.
Do you charge per contact?
No. Send29 charges by the number of emails you send each month, not by contacts stored. Growth and Pro include unlimited contacts. Only the Free plan has a contact cap, at 500.
What happens if I reach my monthly send limit?
You'll get a warning as you approach your plan's send limit. If you reach it, new sends pause until the limit resets next month or you upgrade. There are no surprise overage charges.
What's included in basic reporting?
On every plan you get emails sent and delivered, opens and open rate, clicks and click rate, unsubscribes, and totals for contacts, lists and campaigns. Growth and Pro add who opened and what each person clicked, plus list growth tracking and the real-time dashboard.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There's no contract and no lock-in. Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel, and cancelling stops the next renewal. We don't offer refunds for time already paid, so cancel before your renewal date.
What support do I get on the Pro plan?
Every plan includes email support at support@send29.com, answered within one business day, Monday to Friday. Pro adds priority handling with a same business day response, plus phone support.
